i've never seen one of the creatures in person,
but other day one flew into the shop
and was scoping the joint out for a couple of hours.
this shitty photo was taken from the ground, the bird was
15-20 feet up, so i had to crop the photo.
all of the pretty little colors
like green, purple, white etc were comprimised
when i shot the photo.
but these birds are amazing. look it up.
racing pigeons / carrier pigeons
notice the green colored band around this birds ankle.
heres a photo some dude getting one ready for flight -
carrying some some gun powder to some troops
a hundred miles away!
