been at it again business as usual,
spending time in my garden patch ary now an then.
the therapeutic time and exercise pays off if done correctly.
normally i don't do things correctly; with my gardening,
i try hard to stick with the proven ancient techniques
and methods. sometimes i will go out and try something non-traditional. this year in the spring summer grow season i was spotlighting on corn mostly; ive tried this in the past and failed; thats because i was doing it mostly all wrong.
it takes patients and skill to achieve good results.
think im finally starting to learn the old ancient mayan secrets
to growing the elote.
sacrificial premature corn offering to the bird gods.
wish I had done more documenting
on the rest of my patch this year.
also growing tomatoes, peppers,
cucumbers, and lima beans. the limas
are my favorite bean fordhook type; i think i will do another post
on these when I harvest them soon maybe.
its almost time to pull up these summer
crops and geat ready for fall/winter vegetables,
i have not even thought about these crops yet,
im sorta on the fly with these kinds of decisions..
i also wish i had more time to dedicate
to growing food, need to expand
my patch some, thinking about
a terraced situation similar to machu picchu.
combining some roman technology water shedding and
ancient terracing coming up with a beautiful and functional
garden area.
some of my produce, stuff melts in yo mouth.
